A shutdown of the 33 KV Nehalpora Markundal line has been proposed for the 7th, 11th, and 14th of October 2026 (09:00 AM to 04:00 PM) to facilitate the shifting of electrical utilities for the NH-1 bypass construction. Areas affected include Markundal, Naidkhai, Sumbal, and adjoining regions.
