Jammu Kashmir: Ksheer Bhawani fair today, route plan issued for vehicles coming to Tulmula

 Ksheer Bhavani fair will be organized on Sunday in the court of Maa Raghenya located in Tulmula.  During this, the Kashmiri Pandit community will offer special prayers to the mother and pray for her early return home.  It is believed that this time a large number of people including the Kashmiri Pandit community will reach the Ksheer Bhawani fair. On the other hand, in view of the arrival of devotees in large numbers by vehicles, the traffic department has issued a route plan, so that there can be a hassle-free movement.  .  Elaborate security arrangements have also been made.  Meanwhile, on Saturday, a group of pilgrims staged a protest alleging inadequate facilities.  During this, women and children shouted slogans against the administration.

Jammu and Kashmir: SIA detains one from Surankot, questioned on suspicion of frequent cross-border talks

 The State Investigation Agency (SIA) raided a house in remote Hadi village in Poonch's Surankote tehsil and detained a person for questioning.  However, he was released after two hours of questioning and mobile phone checking. The SIA has taken action on the case of the SIM card in the name of the person being talked to several times across the Line of Control.  According to sources, the SIA team from Jammu along with the local police reached Manwar Hussain's house in Hadi village. Manwar was brought to the police station for questioning.  Where he was interrogated for about two hours.  It may be noted that since the terrorist attack on a military vehicle at Bhataduriyan in Poonch district, various investigative agencies NIA, SIA are continuously taking action on suspected hideouts in the district.


 During this, the mobile phones, laptops etc. of the suspects were also checked.  If sources are to be believed, there will be an increase in the action of investigative agencies in the district in the coming days.  Investigating agencies are keeping a close watch on former terrorists, surrendered terrorists and their relatives who were associates of terrorists during the period of terrorism in the district.

World's largest grain storage scheme to start from Jammu and Kashmir, land marked in Kathua

The pilot project of the world's largest grain storage scheme is going to start from Billawar in Jammu and Kashmir as part of India's preparation for grain storage in the situation that has emerged around the world after the Ukraine war.  For this, the administration has identified 16 kanals of land at Kah Kachheed in Billawar. Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Salor has been identified for its development.  The world's largest grain storage project is being started by the central government by connecting the allied ministries of agriculture.  It includes different departments as well as the Cooperative Department.

Army Step Up Security Across Manipur Amid Reports Of Fresh Violence .

 


Army Chief General Manoj Pande will be visiting Manipur today to review the security situation in view of the recent violence there, said Indian Army officials.

They said the Army Chief would be briefed by the Eastern Command officials on the measures taken to bring the situation under control.


Meanwhile, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles have stepped up security across Manipur amid the reports of fresh violence in the state.
