Women Observe ‘Bacch Dua’ Rituals for Sons’ Long Life in Jammu
JAMMU, September 7: Women in Jammu observed the traditional festival of ‘Bacch Dua’ with religious fervour and devotion, performing special rituals and offering prayers for the long life, health and well-being of their sons.
On the occasion, women visited temples and other places of worship, where they offered prayers and performed traditional rituals as part of the age-old custom. The festival holds special significance for mothers, who observe the rituals with the belief that their prayers will ensure the longevity and prosperity of their children.
The celebrations also reflected the region’s rich cultural traditions, with women following customary practices and exchanging greetings with family members and relatives.
