Rajouri Police, SDRF Rescue 10 Persons, Including 6 Children, from Jamola River


Rajouri, September 2: Rajouri Police, in a swift and coordinated operation with the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), rescued 10 persons, including six children, who were stranded in the Jamola River in the Bhadoon area after the water level rose suddenly.

Following information about the stranded persons, a joint team of Rajouri Police and SDRF Rajouri immediately launched a rescue operation. The team successfully evacuated all 10 individuals from the river and shifted them to a safer location.

The timely response and coordinated efforts of the police and SDRF ensured that all those stranded were brought to safety without any loss of life.

Rajouri Police has appealed to the public to exercise extreme caution near rivers and other water bodies, especially during sudden rises in water levels. People have also been advised to avoid venturing near rivers and streams during adverse weather conditions.
