Indian Army Organises PNG Transition Webinar-2026 in Delhi


New Delhi: The Indian Army organised the PNG Transition Webinar-2026 at the Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantt, to accelerate the transition to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) across feasible Army establishments.

As part of the initiative, the Indian Army plans to convert 41 Army Stations to PNG during the financial year 2026–27. The programme will subsequently be expanded to other feasible Army establishments.

During the event, the Indian Army PNG Guide was also released. The guide provides a common reference framework covering administrative procedures, technical requirements, safety measures and implementation aspects to facilitate a structured and efficient transition to PNG.

The initiative is aimed at promoting cleaner and more efficient energy use across Army establishments while ensuring a systematic approach to PNG adoption.
