Poonch: Security has been significantly tightened along the Rajouri-Poonch National Highway ahead of the annual Baba Budha Amarnath Yatra 2026.

Multi-layer security arrangements have been put in place, with the Indian Army, J&K Police, CRPF, CISF and other security agencies maintaining heightened alertness at strategic locations and along the highway.

The measures are aimed at ensuring the safe and smooth movement of pilgrims travelling between Jammu, Rajouri and Poonch during the annual pilgrimage.
