Mission YUVA: DLIC Approves 1,047 Cases to Boost Youth Entrepreneurship in Udhampur
UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 24: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) under Mission YUVA to review and expedite the implementation of youth entrepreneurship initiatives in the district.
The meeting focused on the evaluation and screening of applications received under various categories of Mission YUVA, including Nano Enterprises, MSMEs and other eligible sectors. The objective was to identify and recommend deserving candidates for financial assistance to establish and expand their businesses.
After detailed scrutiny and deliberations, the committee approved 1,047 cases for financial assistance under the Mission YUVA scheme, paving the way for aspiring young entrepreneurs to start and expand their ventures.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore, Assistant Director Employment Priyanka Gupta, representatives of the banking sector and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of Mission YUVA through enhanced coordination among all concerned departments. He directed the officers to expedite the registration and processing of cases while maintaining transparency and ensuring prompt disposal of applications.
He also stressed the importance of providing all necessary support to deserving youth with viable business proposals.
The Deputy Commissioner said that effective implementation of Mission YUVA would help young entrepreneurs become self-reliant, create employment opportunities and contribute significantly to the economic growth and development of Udhampur district.
