Srinagar: Kashmir’s chief cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday, August 21, 2026, expressed concern over reports that former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had again been shifted to a jail.

Mirwaiz described the reports as “concerning” and emphasized that the rights of political prisoners are universal.
