Mansukh Mandaviya Leads 88th Fit India Sundays on Cycle at BRICS Run & Ride 2026


New Delhi, August 30, 2026: Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya led the 88th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle during the BRICS Run & Ride 2026 event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

The event witnessed the participation of around 5,000 people, including Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir, wrestler Sangram Singh, and actor Madhurima Tuli.

Dr. Mandaviya said the 88th edition holds special significance as India is set to host the 18th BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam on September 12–13, 2026.

The 88th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle was launched at more than 25,000 locations across the country, with BRICS representatives and senior officials joining the nationwide fitness campaign.

The initiative aims to promote cycling, physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle among citizens.
