LG Manoj Sinha Pays Tribute to Partition Victims at Remembrance Day Event in Srinagar
Srinagar, August 14: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, today attended the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day event at Tagore Hall in Srinagar and paid heartfelt tribute to the victims of the Partition.
Recalling the immense suffering and sacrifices endured by millions during the Partition, the Lieutenant Governor remembered those who lost their lives, homes and loved ones during one of the most painful chapters in the history of the country.
LG Manoj Sinha urged people to draw lessons from the tragic events of the past and work collectively to strengthen the values of unity, peace and national integration.
He called upon citizens to remain committed to building a stronger, peaceful and prosperous Bharat, while preserving the spirit of harmony and brotherhood.
The event served as an occasion to remember the victims of Partition and reaffirm the collective resolve to ensure that the values of unity, peace and humanity continue to guide the nation.
