LG Manoj Sinha Attends Quaternary Healthcare & Research Summit 2026 in Srinagar


Srinagar, August 26, 2026: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today attended the “Quaternary Healthcare & Research Summit 2026” in Srinagar, where he emphasised the need to strengthen healthcare infrastructure across the Union Territory.

Addressing the summit, the Lieutenant Governor stressed the urgent need to bridge the healthcare gap in J&K by improving services at every level, from village-level clinics to advanced quaternary healthcare centres.

LG Sinha also highlighted what he described as India's significant achievements in the healthcare sector in recent years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The summit brought together healthcare professionals, researchers and other stakeholders to deliberate on advancements in specialised healthcare, research and the future of medical services in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Lieutenant Governor emphasised the importance of strengthening healthcare delivery and ensuring access to advanced medical facilities for people across the Union Territory.
