In a circular issued on August 21, the Directorate observed that several Senior Assistants had been transferred or deployed to different institutions and offices by CEOs of Jammu Division without having the requisite competence to issue such orders. The matter has been viewed seriously by the Directorate.

The circular directs all concerned CEOs to immediately relieve Senior Assistants who have been deployed without prior approval of the competent authority and instruct them to report back to their original places of posting.

The Directorate has also instructed Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) not to release the salaries of Senior Assistants deployed without competent authority approval until they resume their duties at their original places of posting.

The Directorate warned that any violation of these instructions may invite disciplinary action against the officers or officials responsible.

The circular has been issued for strict compliance across Jammu Division.
