J&K Police Kathua Organises Grand Tiranga Bike Rally Ahead of 80th Independence Day


Kathua, August 14: In the run-up to the 80th Independence Day, J&K Police Kathua organised a grand Tiranga Bike Rally on Thursday to promote patriotism, national unity, communal harmony and pride in the National Flag.
The rally was flagged off from SP Resort, Sherpur, and covered several border areas before proceeding towards Lakhanpur, covering approximately 50 kilometres via National Highway. Around 300 motorcycles participated in the rally.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from personnel of the J&K Police, CRPF, BSF and civil administration. The rally was led by senior officers, including Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma JKAS and SSP Kathua Mohita Sharma IPS, along with other police, security forces and civil administration officials.

Participants proudly carried the Tricolour throughout the route and raised patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of national pride, unity and enthusiasm. The rally showcased the collective spirit of security forces and the civil administration in celebrating the values of freedom, unity and service to the nation.

On the occasion, officers highlighted the significance of the Tiranga as a symbol of unity, freedom, dignity and justice, and urged citizens, particularly the youth, to uphold these values and contribute towards building a peaceful, progressive and harmonious society.

J&K Police Kathua reiterated its commitment to promoting patriotism, public participation, communal harmony and community engagement, while appealing to citizens to participate enthusiastically in the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
