New Delhi, August 20, 2026: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is holding bilateral talks with Japanese Defence Minister Shinjiro Koizumi in New Delhi today.

The talks are focused on strengthening defence cooperation between India and Japan, with discussions expected to cover security, defence technology, military cooperation and developments in the Indo-Pacific region.

India and Japan have been steadily expanding their strategic partnership, particularly in the areas of maritime security and defence cooperation.
