The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) has issued its first Compliance Certificate for a 15-metre-long multi-axle sleeper bus.

The certificate has been awarded to Sinati Automotive Private Limited for its 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus.

The achievement marks a significant milestone in the inspection and certification of one of the longest permissible bus-body structures in the passenger transportation category. It also highlights the growing capabilities of India’s automotive testing and certification ecosystem.

The development is expected to support advancements in passenger transport technology while ensuring compliance with prescribed safety and regulatory standards.

The initiative has been undertaken under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India.
