Jammu, August 30, 2026:

Divisional Commissioner Jammu reviewed the preparations for the upcoming 1st International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir and directed all concerned departments to ensure foolproof arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of the event.

During the review meeting, the Divisional Commissioner took detailed stock of preparations related to venue and site management, security, traffic regulation, sanitation, power supply, public amenities, hospitality and other logistical arrangements.

The Divisional Commissioner stressed the need for close coordination among all stakeholder departments and instructed officials to complete all assigned responsibilities well in advance. He also emphasized proper site management and effective crowd and traffic arrangements to ensure that visitors, participants and guests face no inconvenience.

The concerned departments were directed to maintain close coordination throughout the festival and ensure prompt resolution of any issues that may arise during the events.

The Divisional Commissioner called for seamless inter-departmental coordination, meticulous planning and strict monitoring to ensure that the first International Film Festival of J&K is conducted in a safe, organized and memorable manner.
