Srinagar, August 20: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited the J&K Sports Council’s Gindun Sports Complex at Rajbagh during his Srinagar city tour and inspected the newly constructed swimming pool and other sports facilities.

During the visit, officials briefed the Chief Minister on the ongoing efforts to strengthen recreational and sports infrastructure for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chief Minister reviewed the facilities and took stock of the measures being undertaken to provide better sporting opportunities and promote youth participation in sports.

He was also briefed on the proposed Rajbagh flyover and related infrastructure plans aimed at improving connectivity and easing traffic movement in the area.
