CM Omar Abdullah Inaugurates ‘Waste to Wonder’ Flower Garden in Srinagar
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today inaugurated the “Waste to Wonder” Flower Garden in Srinagar, highlighting innovative ways to transform discarded materials into creative and useful installations.
The initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability, waste recycling and creative upcycling, while encouraging greater public awareness about responsible waste management.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a Floriculture Mela at the venue, showcasing an impressive variety of exotic flowers and aromatic shrubs.
The event brought together environmental sustainability and floriculture, offering visitors an opportunity to witness creative applications of waste materials alongside the region’s rich floral diversity.
