Chief Minister Attends Annual Day Celebration at Presentation Convent School in Srinagar
Srinagar, August 22: The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir was the Chief Guest at “The Clock Tower Cosmos 2026,” the Annual Day celebration of Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Srinagar.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described the school as an institution whose founding values have continued to inspire generations and contribute positively to society.
The Chief Minister praised the students for their impressive performances during the annual celebration and appreciated their creativity, confidence and talent.
Particular appreciation was expressed for the students’ thought-provoking presentation on gender equity, which highlighted the importance of equal opportunities and empowerment for girls.
The Chief Minister emphasised that empowering the girl child goes beyond providing education and opportunities. It means nurturing confident, capable and empowered young women who can take leadership roles and contribute to the development of Jammu & Kashmir and the nation.
The Annual Day programme showcased the students’ academic, cultural and creative achievements and provided a platform for them to demonstrate their talents and express important social messages.
