Jammu, July 22: In a significant development for Rehbar-e-Khel candidates, the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, Jammu & Kashmir, has constituted a UT-Level Regularization Committee to examine and process the regularization of eligible candidates recommended by the Divisional Level Screening Committees.

According to an official order issued by Director General Anuradha Gupta (JKAS), the committee will be headed by the Director General, Youth Services & Sports as Chairman. Other members include the Joint Director (Jammu/Kashmir), Deputy Director Central as Member Secretary, Deputy Legal Remembrancer, and the Accounts Officer of the Directorate.

The Chairman has also been authorized to co-opt additional officers or members, if required, to facilitate the committee's proceedings.

As per the order, the committee will thoroughly scrutinize the recommendations received from the Divisional Level Screening Committees and submit complete cases to the Administrative Department for further action in accordance with the Rehbar-e-Khel Policy notified in 2017.

The constitution of the UT-level committee marks an important step in advancing the long-pending regularization process of Rehbar-e-Khel candidates across Jammu and Kashmir.
