Samba, June 16: A tragic road accident occurred in the Dayani area of Samba district on Monday, claiming the life of one person and leaving another injured.

According to reports, the accident took place when a vehicle met with a mishap under circumstances that are yet to be ascertained. One individual died on the spot due to the severity of the injuries sustained in the crash, while another person suffered injuries.

Local residents immediately rushed to the scene and launched rescue efforts. The injured person was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. The identity of the deceased and the injured person was being verified at the time of filing this report.
