महर्षि दयानंद गौशाला और गुरुकुल के मुख्य संरक्षक श्री चंदन दत्ता ने जम्मू के डीसी राकेश मिन्हास को गुरुकुल की उन पहलों से अवगत कराया, जिनके तहत भावी पीढ़ी को वैदिक शिक्षा प्रदान करने, संस्कृत भाषा और वेदों को बढ़ावा देने और गुरुकुल की हमारी पुरानी समृद्ध विरासत परंपरा को पुनर्जीवित करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। दत्ता ने मिन्हास को बताया कि गुरुकुल में कुल 31 ब्रह्मचारी विद्यार्थी हैं, जो जम्मू के मुठी स्थित सरकारी हाई स्कूल से आधुनिक शिक्षा प्राप्त कर रहे हैं और शाम के समय शास्त्री और आचार्यों से संस्कृत और वेद सीखते हैं। मिन्हास ने युवाओं को प्रेरित करने और हमारी संस्कृति की पुरानी परंपरा को बनाए रखने के लिए गुरुकुल के प्रयासों की सराहना की, ताकि उन्हें वैदिक शिक्षा प्राप्त करने का मंच मिल सके। उन्होंने जल्द ही गुरुकुल का दौरा करके स्वयं व्यवस्था देखने का वादा किया। जम्मू के डीसी राकेश मिन्हास ने समाज में मानवता की सेवा में श्री चंदन दत्ता की व्यापक और असाधारण भूमिका के लिए उन्हें बधाई दी। उपस्थित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में अध्यक्ष श्री अरुण आर्य, कोषाध्यक्ष रवि कुमार गुप्ता, राजिंदर सिंह और सुभाष शामिल थे।
