According to sources, a cloudburst struck the Zamnal and Batohi areas of Reasi district, triggering flash floods and causing panic among local residents. Sudden heavy rainfall led to a rapid surge of water and debris in seasonal streams and low-lying areas, affecting normal life in the region. Authorities and local teams have been monitoring the situation, while residents have been advised to stay away from vulnerable nallahs and landslide-prone zones. Similar cloudburst-triggered flash flood incidents have recently been reported in parts of Reasi district, causing fear among inhabitants though no major loss of life was immediately reported. 

Officials are assessing the extent of damage to roads, agricultural land, and other infrastructure. Rescue and relief teams remain on alert as weather conditions continue to be monitored closely. People living near water channels and hill slopes have been urged to remain cautious and follow advisories issued by the administration.
