Udhampur, May 29: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur has ordered the transfer and posting of several police officers across the district with immediate effect.

According to the order issued from District Police Headquarters (DPHQ) Udhampur, the following transfers have been made:

Inspector Purshotam Kumar has been transferred from Police Station Rehmbal and posted as SHO Police Station Ramnagar.

Inspector Nishant Gupta has been shifted from DPL Udhampur and appointed as SHO Police Station Chenani.

Inspector Parvez Sajad has been transferred from DPL Udhampur and posted as SHO Police Station Udhampur.

Inspector Sumit Magotra has been moved from DPL Udhampur and appointed as SHO Police Station Rehmbal.

PSI Manveer Singh has been transferred from Police Station Ramnagar to Police Station Udhampur.

PSI Varun Sharma has been shifted from Police Station Udhampur and posted as In-Charge Police Post Battal Ballian.

PSI Ravinder Kumar has been transferred from Police Post Battal Ballian to Police Station Udhampur.

The order further states that Inspector Parvez Sajad shall take charge as SHO Udhampur after the relieving of IPS officer Abhijeet Sirohi, who is presently serving as SHO Police Station Udhampur.

All transferred officers have been directed to report at their new places of posting forthwith.
