Samba, May 30: The administration launched an anti-encroachment drive in Paswal village of Pytari Panchayat in Samba block on Friday, taking action against alleged illegal constructions and encroachments on government land.

During the operation, JCB machines were deployed to remove structures identified as unauthorized. A large number of local residents gathered at the site as the action was carried out under the supervision of concerned officials.

According to the administration, the drive is part of an ongoing campaign to free government land from illegal occupation and ensure that public property remains protected. Officials stated that similar actions against encroachments will continue in the coming days across the district.

The administration has appealed to residents to refrain from unauthorized construction on government land and cooperate with authorities during such enforcement drives.
